We work with teams across sectors, from enterprise companies to startups to government agencies. That said, we have a particular alignment with nonprofits, social impact organizations, and mission-driven teams. We believe technology should serve people who are doing meaningful work, and we're drawn to partners who share that conviction. The common thread across all our clients is the same: hard problems, and a desire for a partner who'll stick around to solve them.
With a conversation. We'll talk about what you're working on, where you're stuck, and whether we're the right fit. If we are, we'll scope an approach together. If we're not, we'll tell you that too.
Yes. We're based in Madison, Wisconsin, but we work with teams everywhere. Most of our engagements are remote or hybrid, and we structure our work to make that seamless.
It depends on the work. We don't sell standardized packages because the problems we solve aren't standardized. After an initial conversation, we'll put together a proposal that's specific to what you need — no surprises, no ambiguity.
That's how we prefer it. We embed with your team, not replace it. Our goal is to solve the immediate problem and build your team's capability along the way, so you're stronger after we leave than before we showed up.
